Mike Abdul Tops Boomplay List Of Most Streamed Gospel Songs Of 2021

Urban AfroGospel music legend Mike Abdul has topped the list of the most streamed Gospel songs on Boomplay between November 2020 and November 2021.

According to the top 3 list displayed by Nigerian music streaming and download platform, Boomplay, the Midnight Crew Fuji sensation and head of Spaghetti Records crew is at the fore of the list with his February 2021 release titled “Baba Ese.”

The mid-tempo African traditional folk music with elements of Juju music, featuring the Yoruba Mass Choir, is a song of gratitude. It was released as Mike Abdul celebrated his birthday earlier in the year.

At the number 2 spot is the single released by EeZee Conceptz artiste Mercy Chinwo titled “Oyoyo Chukwu.” The song features the label boss, EeZee Tee, alongside Isreal Dammie. The classic single “No Void” by Gospel music minister Onos Ariyo is the 3rd most streamed single within the period in view.

It is worthy to note the tenacity with which Mike Abdul pushes his releases and that of his artiste under the Spaghetti label. Aside dropping good, quality content, he maximizes the potentials of every avenue, as long as people are patronizing the platform and makes it work to his advantage. The consistency over the years is also worthy of mention. It is really no surprise to see the fruit of such labour and how easily he could have beaten any artiste with streams. Congratulations are in to Mike Abdul and the Spaghetti Records crew!
