Past Nigerian leaders have teamed up with the present ones to deliver a rendition of a popular hymnal as a means of prayer for the nation and to foster peace.
Former leaders, Yakubu Gowon, Olusegun Obasanjo, Ernest Shonekan, and former deputies, Ebitu Ukiwe, Alex Ekwueme, Oladipo Diya and current vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, have delivered a rendition of Isaac Watts’ hymn, “Our God, Our Help in Ages Past,” with the video recorded early December 2016.
The goal is for a greater, united and peaceful Nigeria in 2017 with the hope to kick off 2017 in the spirit of oneness and hope.
