Tim Godfrey Captures Violence Against Women In Broadway-Styled Production
Iconic Gospel music artiste Tim Godfrey is known for his versatility in stage production and this time, he has collaborated with Swift Think and the Lagos State Government to bring the highly emotional production that captures the struggle, discrimination and violence against women in a Broadway-Styled show with a perfect blend of acting, singing and dancing titled ‘Ewuro’
‘Ewuro’ is in its second season and this year promises to be bigger than the maiden edition. It is in collaboration with the Lagos State Government through the Ministry of Women Affairs.
Talking about the last edition of the production, wife of Bishop FEB Idahosa and President of Benson Idahosa University, Laurie Idahosa commented;
“I’m deeply inspired ny the work Tim Godfrey and Ewuro has done to bring to the light the plight of women. The stage production was professionally executed with amazing music and deeply inspired lyrics. I recommend any pastor, politician or corncerned citizen who wishes to have a deeper understanding of the issue facing women, especially widows to go and see it.”
