Selah's Journal: "God Is My Source Of Inspiration" – Tolu Stevens

Hey there! Beautiful Monday to you. Yes, we know. You are swamped, your table is piled up with symbols of workload and bla, bla, bla… here’s the good news! It comes with Mondays! A word of advice, start first. If you don’t, it’s just going to keep piling up.

You have to resume at work 5 days in a week, some even more. So what is the inspiration that keeps you going at it? Did I hear you say “good question?”

We asked OAP and Controller of Presentation Unit Metro 97.7 FM, Tolu Stevens and here’s what she had to say:

Tolu Stevens

“I hope I don’t sound too pedestrian if I say that God is my source of inspiration, I don’t know how he does it but I have always tried to say a word of prayer just before I read that three minutes news, the fifteen minutes bulleting or the one hour network news.

I have always remembered to say a word of prayer once I start preparing for my programmes on air which is usually hours or sometimes days before I go on air and believe me all of the times, ideas, songs and the structure of the programme just starts popping up in my head. Most lately though I have discovered that falling in love can be a very wonderful source of inspiration, it keeps you perpetually in a good mood and so ideas just flow into your head. 😉

However, am sure I can do all things and succeed through him who strengthens me.
