-Veteran Gospel Rapper Bouqui Bags PHD Degree At Heart Bible International University, USA.
Nigerian award winning Christian rapper Bukola Folayan popularly known as B.O.U.Q.U.I has bagged a PHD degree from the prestigious Heart Bible International University, USA.
The American based Gospel rapper who announced herself with her self titled debut 14 tracks album “B.O.U.Q.U.I” hits another milestone. This time, by bagging a PhD degree from one of the foremost Florida based Christian University while also becoming the first ever female rapper to do so.
The colorful event was also graced by the presence of the senior pastor at the Daystar Christian Center, Pastor Sam Adeyemi who was present at the graduation ceremony, as his wife Pastor Nike Adeyemi was also graduating from the University.
Bouqui Bags PHD Degree
“Dr. BOUQUI. I’m missing my my mom’s 80th birthday….All my siblings and cousins are already in Nigeria,” she said. “But I guess this is a good enough reason to miss it. I got my green card on her bday and now I’m bagging my PhD, almost a decade after, also on her birthday. “May” 28th. “May” be I’ll get married in Mmmind ya biznezz…
“We kept it from her and this morning, my brother said,“Mom, We have a surprise for you, Bouqui is a doctor, she is getting her PhD today”….and she cried.”
The Gospel artiste who grew up with five of her siblings in an academic atmosphere of the Obafemi Awolowo University (Ile-Ife) is no stranger in the Mindustry with top single project like “Mole jo”, “Vanity” and “Wanna Love U”, and many more.
