Founder, and Senior Pastor of the House On The Rock Church worldwide,  Pastor Paul Adefarasin encourages people to go and see record breaking movie “Black Panther”.

The highly respected man of God was invited by US Consular Mission to the private screening of the movie and was full of praise as he highlights the significance of the movie to Africans. He further encouraged people to go see the blockbuster movie.

He took to his Instagram page to express his love for the movie while encouraging others to go see it saying:

“My #BlackPanther viewing experience was such an incredible one … filled with awe, adulation and appreciation for the Black race and its achievements; I thank the US Consular Mission for inviting me to the private screening of the movie.

“The plot, effect, contrivance and even the comic relief were all thoroughly engaging and intelligently executed. The depiction of our strength and capabilities as a race was awe inspiring, as was the representation of the African culture, beauty and talent. We enthusiastically celebrate our Nigerian, African and African American brothers and sisters for their groundbreaking accomplishments with this project.

“If you have not seen this movie, I think you should go and see it … do so with pride. Take your kids along (if they are within the permitted age) because it is experiences like this that empower us and expand our consciousness, showing how successful, powerful and influential that we as African States, and people of African descent can be”.

Pastor Paul Adefarasin has always believed in using entertainment as a tool for social change. Several record breaking movies have been premiered in the House on the Rock facility including “Selma”. He regularly host Nollywood to a night of prayer, praise and worship. The event usually features the cream of the industry. Arguably the biggest Christian concert in Africa, The Experience is organized by House on the Rock as well.
