Rising Gospel Artistes Dominate Finals Of The Voice Nigeria Season 2

As the season 2 of The Voice Nigeria is drawing towards the final leg, some of the Gospel artistes who have been on the rise, with their works including gracing some of the biggest stages, have been getting nationwide recognition on the stage of the popular show.

J’Dess, who was the winner of Destiny Child Gospel Talent Show season 2, is on Team Waje and definitely gaining momentum. J’Dess haven won the season 2 has released several singles including “Umu Chineke”, “Bata”, and featured in several concerts such as the Sammie Okposo Praise Concert featuring American Gospel artiste Jonathan Nelson, “Oguta Praise Concert, amongst others.

Her profile on the Voice Nigeria segment of African Magic official website says the 26 year old is seeking a bigger platform.

Wow:

Wow; goes by the beautiful slogan: ‘on the Wow side of life’. The 34 year-old who is also on Team Waje, started his music journey from the church as both parents were pastors. He has been surrounded by music all his life. He is a music producer and a worship leader.  He released the album “Pieces  of Praise” alongside the group City of David in 2016. He seeks to explore the option of becoming an acclaimed singer and song writer.

Precious:

Precious was on Team Timi before his exit from the competition but his effort is worth a mention. The happy go-lucky is grateful for the experience despite his exit. The worship leader has been associated with great ministers of God such as Pastor Kingsley and Mildred Okonkwo of David’s Christian Centre and Laurie Idahosa, wife of Bishop Feb Idahosa of Church of God Mission International.
