In a bid to drive the growth of gospel music in Nigeria, the host, Unachi & Dj Holoskey are set to bring gospel music closer to the people particular Nigerian gospel songs. The show made possible by head of station Mr. Nkamiang John who is an ace broadcaster and ardent supporter of gospel music in Nigeria.
The Gospel Hangout Show is a live program that will air every Sunday from 6-7pm. The show will feature programs like Interviews, new song premiere, Gospel news, Top 10 songs in Nigeria. The top 10 songs will be voted and to remain on the chart the audience will have to vote to push the song up the chart.
According to Dj Holoskey, “I am optimistic this will the biggest thing to happen to the gospel scene based on our programme lineup. We hope to greatly boost gospel entertainment in Nigeria using the platform of Kissfm”.
Becky Magam, head of business relationship at SevenPro Media said “we are willing to collaborate with individuals and corporate organisations to ensure gospel music takes the centre stage. We have the right content the people need to hear it. Every episode of the show will be released as a podcast on our website every week. You can catch up with every episode with just a click.”
