Nigerian-born inspirational songstress, Ogecha, is set to inspire the world again with the new sounds on her yet-to-be-titled sophomore album slated to be released later this year.

She kicks off this journey with the release of “Intentionally Woman”, the first official single off her sophomore album project scheduled to be released on 1st March, 2017.

“Intentionally Woman” is a song that tells the story of a woman who takes on life deliberately with the tenacity to make the best of it. She’s a woman that commands attention not because of her looks but because of her sense of purpose and many are inspired by her story knowing that she was willing to take the steps necessary towards greatness. It’s a song that celebrates women like her all over the world.

This song has also spurred Ogecha to champion The Intentionally Woman Campaign focused on celebrating women – in Nigeria, Africa and the rest of the world – who are achieving exceptional feats in their various domains, and using their stories to inspire and motivate other women to take the steps necessary to unleash the genius in them.

Ogecha’s songs are a rich assortment of both indigenous and contemporary sounds such as the soul-stirring “Dumimaja”, “Brand New Thing”, “Your Word, My Promise”, among others, all listed on her debut album, “All For You”, officially released in 2011.

In 2014, she released the music video of her song Dumimaja, an outstanding work of art that has received several nominations including the AFRIMA 2015 nomination for Best Female Artist in African Inspirational Music.
