Lagos State Annual Thanksgiving Service
After the mix-up that trailed the news of Redeemed Christian Church of God’s new appointees, the General Overseer Pastor Enoch Adeboye was spotted yesterday, Sunday the 8th of January, officiating at the Lagos State Government Annual Thanksgiving service.
The service which held at the Lagos House Ikeja, had in attendance the Lagos state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, his wife Mrs. Bolanle Ambode, Pastor Enoch Adeboye and his wife Mrs. Foluke Adeboye.
Pastor Adeboye in his sermon, said for people to experience a new beginning, they must be willing to follow God completely and serve Him in truth and spirit.
While drawing his text from Exodus 3:1-8, Genesis 18:1-8 and Mark 10:46-52 among others, Pastor Adeboye also admonished Nigerians to leave the camp of the devil and embrace God’s camp, as well as accept the invitation of God.
The Lagos state Governor, in his address which was posted on his official Twitter account said;
“This year’s thanksgiving is significant, as it ushers in the 50th anniversary of our dear state.
“We’re determined & God willing, we shall continue to achieve an all-inclusive progress and prosperity in the State
“As we covert greater prosperity for all of us & the State this year,we’re confident that our God will never fail us
“As we are gathered this evening to praise and glorify His Holy name, new windows of opportunities shall be opened for us as a Nation.”
