Nigerian UK-based Recording artist, Yemisi Oni drops her new Afro-Fusion single, Olorun Ife (God of Love) featuring Nigerian Soul Singer, Nikki Laoye.

Produced and Recorded in London by UK producer, Mr Shabz, Olorun Ife is a groovy praise themed song, bound to get you on your feet, in celebration of the Mighty God of Love.

Another inspiring effort from Yemisi Oni, who loves to express her music in Yoruba – her local Nigerian mother tongue as well as other languages. She is passionate about spreading the love of God through her music and derives her inspiration from her Christian faith and her experiences.

Oluyemisi Osinowo-Oni , popularly known as Yemisi Oni, is a Nigerian UK-based Recording artist – A singer, song writer with a passion for soulful and heartfelt music. Her musical style is an urban contemporary sound with the fusion of different styles of music.

Born in Lagos Nigeria to the family of the Late Colonel Olusegun and Modupe Osinowo from Odogbolu in Ogun State Nigeria, Yemisi is the 3^rd child of 6 children.
She studied Chemistry at the prestigious University of Ibadan and has built a successful career as a Project Management Consultant.

She is married to Ayodele Oni and they have 3 lovely children, all resident in London, England.

Yemisi started singing from her high school days as a member of the choir in her alma mater, Command Secondary school, Ipaja Lagos, during which she sang at various concerts and competitions.
In her university days, She was also very active in a number of gospel music groups which included the Victory Christian Fellowship choir – Voice of Praise Singers (VPS), which had Dapo Torimiro of KUSH as a member and she also joined the Ibadan based music group – WISMO which was led by Wale Akinyemi, a renowned Gospel musician and Pastor.

It was at WISMO that Yemisi met the popular gospel artiste, Wale Adenuga who was also a member of this group in the early days of his music career.

Yemisi is currently a member of her church choir and worship team and she also sings with the London Praise House (LPH), a gospel group based in England.
She has featured in various concerts with LPH and has recorded a number of organic songs with the group.

Yemisi has written and recorded a number of songs over the years but finally decided to release her first single in 2009 titled “Who You are to me?”.

In 2016, Her new single titled “Olorun Ife” was recorded in London with the renowned Nikki Laoye and produced by Shabach aka Mr Shabz.

Her major influences include top Nigerian artistes – Lara George, Nikki Laoye and Wale Adenuga.
