2 weeks ago, multi-talented singer, instrumentalist and rapper IBK Spaceshipboi announced that he was kicking off a project that will help redirect the perception of what should be the norm in the world through one of the world’s most powerful tool – Music.
The Project called “WorldRadio” by IBK Spaceshipboi is scheduled for release In the fall of 2017. The aim of the project is to bring to fans, different sounds and good vibes from different parts of the world and also showing the life and good energy of the different countries.
The first single off the project has been released by IBK and it is titled “Padeya”, according to IBK, it is a happy song. Watch “Padeya” video below.
He said he kicked off the recording of “Padeya” in the United States “and went off to Colombia to finish the piece with my good friends Fabian Sanchez and Daniel Demendoza of the 1 Beat Music 2015 alumni as well as other local musicians in Colombia.”
“There are many beautiful places and people with lovely cultures that the media doesn’t project to you. That’s what the WorldRadio by Spaceshipboi project will.
The compilation to be released in 2017 would have me feature music produced by myself incorporating instruments and sounds from the countries I intend to showcase and these countries include: Colombia, United States of America, India, Turkey, Nigeria, Russia, Taiwan
and X (might be your country)
