SelahAfrikans celebrate with on-air personality Sunday Imonah AKA the Sonar, who is also a column writer on SelahAfrik, as he gets nominated in the Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards [6thNBMAwards] for Outstanding Radio Programme Presenter, Midday/Lunch Hour Category thanks to your support.

Sunday Imonah AKA The SoNaR’ is an enigmatic Presenter on Metro 97.7FM. Besides presentation, he has produce, written, and directed various creative works to his credit.

This young April born Extrovertial-Introvert is a bunch of things. He is a Voice Actor, IT/tech savvy, an actor, vocalist, songwriter and writer, he is a known Compere covering social and corporate events before joining Metro FM in 2012 after completing the presentation course at the FRCN Training Institute Ikeja GRA Lagos.

SHOWS/BELTS HE HOSTS

SUNDAY KISSES – (1:00PM – 2:00PM Sundays)

This family programme promotes love in its purest form by encourages everyone to blow kisses and send wishes to anyone even as songs are dedicated to the recipients just as requested by listeners like you. This is done via calls and social media interactions live on the show with Sunday AKA ‘The Sonar’ as your host.

WHISPERS – (11:00PM – 1:00 AM Sundays)

This show features true life tales sent in by listeners one tale per night, other listeners like you can freely react to the story for the night suggesting solutions to critical challenges of the tale bearer who usually seeks open advice. You can always reach Sonar with your contributions via phone and social media interactions, professional advice is also provided via our numerous resource persons.

THE CAFE – (2:00PM – 4: PM Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday)

If you love traveling and discovering new exotic places then you can’t miss this exotic music magazine programme with Sonar which features world music and trips to different locations on the globe via in-house produced documentaries as we explore a variety of people and their various cultures. Segments within the show are: Historic events, Quotes, Strange facts, Culture in focus, interviews, interactives and other features.

DRIVE TIME SHOWS (4:30 PM – 5:00 PM and 6:30 PM – 7:00 PM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays)

Lagos and traffic can be described as husband and wife so on these drives Sonar engages you the listener via call-in to obtain traffic situation report from you as well as giving traffic report generated live from the Federal Road Safety Core FRSC and sometimes from Lagos State Traffic Management Agency LASTMA sources at different times. It’s always fun with great music from his selection.
