lebron-james_650x455American Basketball player Lebron James rarely expresses his faith but after his Cleveland Cavaliers lost to the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday, he gave Jesus Christ the credit of the only man who can return and make everything perfect.

While he was being questioned if the return of the team’s injured guards Iman Shumpert and Kyrie Irving, would be a solution to some of the Cavaliers’ problems, James used the name of Jesus Christ to quell the question saying;

“I hope we don’t think that way. It’s never that way,” James said, according to Cleveland.com. “When you get your guys back, you prepare just as you prepare before. There’s only one guy ever in the world that everything will be all right when He comes back and that’s Jesus Christ. Other than that, you can’t bank on nobody being okay.”

Following his confession of Jesus Christ closely, Lebron James, it was reported yesterday signed a lifetime deal with Nike and a source familiar with the negotiations said is the largest single-athlete guarantee in the company history.

A company spokesperson would not say how much Nike paid. It is believed to be the first lifetime deal in the shoe and apparel company’s 44-year history.

“I’m very humble, man,” James told reporters after Monday’s practice. “It’s been an unbelievable time for myself and my family, and I’m just grateful that Nike and [Nike founder] Phil Knight and everyone over there just believed in a skinny-old, skinny 18-year-old kid from Akron, Ohio, and I’m happy to be a part of such a great company.”

James has been observed on social media to be in the habit of offering prayers for professional athletes in distress.. However, the four-time league MVP has also made public appearances in church, and played in the Chris Chambers City League Classic at The Word Church in Warrensville Heights, Ohio, four years ago.
