FlyerTim Omotoso Global Outreach’s (T.O.G.O.) Youth Empowerment Project (Y.E.P.) presents PassionWalk4Peace, an initiative driven by young people who want to empower other youths and invite them to experience peace and be free indeed.

Rev. Tim Omotoso, the founder of Tim Omotoso Global Outreach, believes we are youthful to be useful. In his commitment to empowering the youth in South Africa, he has mentored a number of music groups including Covenant Voices, Grace Galaxy and multiple award winning gospel stars, Simply Chrysolite.

PassionWalk4Peace will take place on Saturday 8th of August 2015, in the form of a walk (peace march) from the Durban City Hall at 11:30am to the New Beach where there would be an outreach program and concert. Some youths partaking in the walk, will be cleaning up the streets of Durban in an act of solidarity and passion in the love for the city. The event will be graced by some prestigious guests, local and national youth leaders. Celebrity stars, Kay Sibiya (who plays ‘Ayanda’ on SABC 1’s hit telenovela ‘Uzalo’) and Phindile Gwala (who plays ‘Nonny’ on SABC 2’s Sopie ‘Muvhango’) are the MCs on the day. Performing live are the International Award winning girl-band Simply Chrysolite, Durban’s Number 1 ranked gospel choir*, Covenant Voices (*on Reverbnation’s gospel/Christian chart), Yung Royalz, Vuyiseka, and South Africa’s top pop artist, Ntando. DC Shoes South African ambassador, Drumkit (former Number 1 beat boxing star) would also be in attendance.

‘Passion Walk 4 Peace’ is an outreach program designed to reach out to anyone passionate about life and change. The youths of T.O.G.O. want to inspire before their time expires, and this unique event, initiated and driven by them is the very first of its kind.

The event is supported by these renowned companies: ABI, Frimax, Parks and Leisure, Love Life and DC Shoes Africa.

Everyone is invited as the event is aiming to attract thousands of people, hence the fun and singing during the walk. Admission is free, and light refreshments would be available.
