Wilson Joel Produced Single “Show Dem” Becomes R-Cube’s Official Debut


Producer extraordinaire Wilson Joel has become acclaimed for Gospel and Inspirational classics haven worked with various artistes around the world.

rcubeNigeria’s all girl group R-Cube has employed the expertise of the prolific producer as they debut with their value-lifting single titled ‘Show Dem’. Namely Rubunu, Ruona and Ruky, the song is a beautiful blend of Afro Culture, Pop Sounds and Nigerian beats. Two of the sisters were finalists on Season 7 of MTN Project Fame finishing among the top 5. Wilson Joel has worked with Rubunu on a MTN Project Fame initiative, titled “We are Africa”, earlier in the year.

Within a short time since the group’s creation, they have performed at a number of high profile events such as – Industry Nite, Freedom Hall’s Women Arise Concert and 2014 The Information Communication & Telecommunication Expo. R-Cube has a monthly Diary in MyStreetz Magazine, and they’ve been featured in Tush Magazine.

The Wilson Joel produced upbeat single Show Dem’, is a fun song that compares urban lifestyle to Nigerian local culture. R-Cube is just what the Naija music industry has been missing with a rich and positive message for a generation that is quick to kick aside ethics, norms and values. The group stands out with confidence and natural approach to their style and ‘Show Dem’, is a great introductory offering with a playful and colorful video to complement it. These three young women are now officially the ones to beat, as far as girl groups in Nigeria go.
