Xforx Studios, a fast growing information technology and design studio located in the heart of Africa is set to solve a simple but important problem in Africa, which is locating events happening around you.

The Creative Technologist of the Studio Mr Ayodeji Peter-Ayeni who had a dramatic experience when he moved to Abuja, the capital city of Nigeria described his life without friends to show him around. He had to deal with lots weekend ennui which gave birth to the idea of creating a central portal for events happening around Africa which is he has tagged EventGlint™.

This is a do-it-yourself (DIY) application been built to put power in the hand of both organizations and individuals to create and share their best upcoming events. The portal is created with three sole purposes: Discover, Create and Share Events.

Ayodeji says;

“We believe there are so much happy moments that Africa can share with the world from Festivals to Musical Concerts, Carnivals and Corporate Conferences”.

EventGlint™ will also allow event organizers to sell their tickets, monitor and manage attendees. It also enables you to upload your Facebook™ event directly on the portal with no stress at all.

The web application is set to be launched on 1st July, 2015. It’s been tested swift and easy to use. The mobile application is said be out and available for downloads on all mobile platforms i.e. iOS, Android and Windows soon.
