Nassarawa state Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura has demonstrated what true religion really is. As the Governor was inspecting flooded areas in Lafia on the 7th of June, he came across a physically challenged 6 years old boy and adopted him.
The Governor promised to sponsor the boy whose name is Samaila Dantani from primary to tertiary institution.
Prior to the Governor’s encounter, little Samila was living in the Akurba area with his parents who are taking refuge there following communal clash in their village, Ashangwa.
