If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. – Romans 10:9
The most important things in life are not material things. Like the warmth, hug and smile of a loved one. Things like good health, peace, joy, gratitude, motivation, and the likes.
When one is dying, it won’t really matter how many cars you have because it can’t even take you on the journey that lies ahead. It won’t matter how many houses you have because one’s body will only be housed by a narrow pit. It won’t matter how many degrees you have because it cannot qualify one for eternity.
When all the chips are down, what really matters is your spirit and soul. Where is it going? Is there peace on the other side or endless agony?
If Jesus already paid the price for your eternal glory and all it takes is a belief and a confession, I wonder what you are still waiting for.
Pray with me. Lord Jesus I confess you with my mouth and I believe that God raised you from the dead. Come into my life and be the shepherd of my soul. I accept you as my Lord and saviour. Amen
