Nikki Laoye, Psalm Ebube, Tolucci & More Nominated For Osun State Entertainment Week Awards – The Mic 2014

NEW-MIC4.jpgAD_4Nikki Laoye, Psalm Ebube, Tolucci have been nominated in the upcoming Osun State Entertainment Week Awards – The Mic 2014 Awards.

Nikki Laoye has been nominated in four categories including “Best Song of the Year – 123”; “Best Video of the year – 123”; Best Neo-soul/R&B artiste of the year – Only You”; “Best Religious Artiste”. Tolucci was nominated for Best Producer while his company Koinonia Ltd also got a nod for Best Producer (event) category. Psalm Ebube alongside Bisi Alawiye, YemyTpx (Erujeje) and of course Nikki Laoye were nominated in the Best Religious Artiste of the Year category.

Nikki Laoye hails from the popular royal family of the Laoye-Ajeniju ruling house – the lineage of the legendary Timi Of Ede, Oba Adetoyese Laoye, in Ede Osun State.

Other artistes nominated for the Mic Awards include mainstream and inspirational artistes from Osun State such as Davido, Mocheddah, Seyi Shay and more.

The MIC Award is dedicated to entertainers and artistes who hail from Osun State in Nigeria and is co-ordinated in three sets of awards :

1. Professionals who support entertainment (Platinum Set – White)

2. Indigenes who reside outside the state (Sapphire Set – Blue).

3. Indigenes and non-indigenes who reside within the state (Ruby Set – Red)

The project is aimed at celebrating the ART of excellence from Osun State and also point the extended public, multinationals and investors-nationally and internationally, to the Talents, Cultural heritage that abound in the State of Osun.

The award ceremony holds on the 7th of December, 2014 in Osun State… Voting commences shortly.
