A lot of things have been happening these days, those we read in the news and those we hear of that don’t make it to the news. Safety has been breached and somehow we are left in the open and that can get scary. The other day I was on my way out and I saw this car parked by the road and I almost began to panic. All the stories I had heard came back to mind and I got really worried but before my imagination could run too wild, He stopped me and said “Nothing can happen, you are marked by God’s love.”
That is what sets us apart. It’s why we see but do not experience. And when we do experience, though seemingly critical as it may look, we will come out unscared. It’s God’s love that makes us the apple of His eyes and keeps us in His right hand so nothing can snatch us from Him.
That’s what keeps us safe. His love is as a shield from whatever the devil tries to bring our way, so there’s no need to be scared. We are covered as children of God from the snares of the evil ones. Hearing the Holy Spirit say what He did to me helped me through out that journey. Even when I was on my way back, this man entered the bus. In my mind He looked scary but I brushed it off and continued with the book I was reading. Few minutes into the journey, HE (the scary looking man) started preaching about God and praying for safe journey and All! He even started to prophecy at some Point! God’s really got us don’t you think?
So there’s no need to be afraid and never forget, as God’s children, we are marked by His love.
Because of his love he had already decided to adopt us through Jesus Christ. He freely chose to do this” – Ephesians 1:5
