This will be the 2nd time Nigerian rap legend M.I Abaga is stepping on a Gospel track in a short space but the only difference is, this time, He is the one calling the shots.
M.I Abaga aka Chairman had Gospel finest Frank Edwards over in his studio where they worked on a soon to be released single. According to Frank Edwards, M.I wanted to give back to God with the track and he did!
M.I came from a family where the father is a pastor but broke into the secular market with the single “Safe Freestyle.” that was after his debut single – “Crowd Mentality” only created a flicker. Last year November, Gospel Rapper Provabs had M.I on a Gospel Hip Hop song titled “Heaven Knows,” guess the after effect of the song did a number on M.I as this new single shows he is still reeling off the experience.
Frank Edwards said:
“Imagine M.I Abaga rap on “Mma Mma, [Frank Edwards worship hit single] that’s what we are doing…”
Can’t wait to hear what the song will sound like but trust these chairmen to kill it!
