LET’S MEET RAPSODEE
Rapsodee (Real name Segun Ayinla Victor) was born in the troubled city of Kaduna in the 80′s and grew up in a house filled with music and laughter.
Growing up, he got exposed to a lot of influences musically ranging from the likes of Fela Anikulapo Kuti,Ayinla Omo Wura,Ayinde Barrister to foreign acts like KRS One,Soul 4 Real and Anita Baker, But he found his own expression in Hip Hop Culture.
From miming songs by The Fugees and 2Pac back in the days †o penning his own lyrics,Rapsodee gradually evolved as an artiste.
He found Christ in the year 2000 which took his music along a path not traveled by many..since then he has never looked back, and has continued †o prove his mettle as a minister of the gospel through Hip Hop.
Owing largely to his self-effacing personality, he hardly flaunts the legendary status many rappers confer on him having influenced a whole generation of gospel rappers via his works.
Rapsodeee has a mixtape titled “Rebel Muzik”, an E.P titled “Mavrixx” in collaboration with Prolific Producer Cikk0 as well as several appearances on other songs in collaboration with other artistes.
Worthy of note also is his sterling performance on the Viral Video “ECHO Cypher”
