“and made us kings and priests to our God, and we will reign on earth.” – Revelation 5:10

Every believer must come to a point in their Christian walk when they no longer need a “priestly figure” before they can hear from God, you must be able to hear from God directly.

Yes, God has placed some priestly figure (in the form of pastors, prophets, evangelists, etc) in our lives to help us grow but they are there to do exactly that – help us grow! To the point when you become matured enough to eat bone and no longer need milk. He said in His words that he has made us Kings and Priest unto Him.

Until a Christian obtain this “phronesis,” most of what God is doing will be confusing to the non-initiate and he can thereby miss out on the purpose of God.

When God gives a prophesy, most times, he wants to bring it to you Himself, He wants to speak to you through His word but most Christians are too reliant on the “priestly figure” and therefore get caught up in the noise around. In the long run, they miss out on the one-on-one message God has given and hope to God that they can be a partaker of the corporate anointing.

God created every man for a purpose and his thoughts for you are to do you good. He wants you to be in charge of the earth and rule it so that you may bring Him all the glory, but until you grow to hear God, you may just be Alice in wonderland to whom everything God is doing seem confusing.

Only those who know their God can do great exploit, so endeavour- strive by all means to get to know your God, then you will begin to understand His ways. Your understanding of God determines who you are. At the end, all God wants to do his take you through a process that will bring glory to His name.
