Practice these things; be committed to them, so that your progress may be evident to all.” – 1 Timothy 4:15
People are often under the assumption that love happens to you and you can’t control it when it does, this is one out of many lies the world has filled us with.
Love is actually a choice. You can choose to love someone or not to. This explains why females think they have fallen in-love after they meet a man that suits their preference. Even the term used to expresses love is derogatory to this effect – “fall in love.”
The truth is, you don’t fall in love, you walk into it with your eyes wide open, only most times, attraction seems to blind our good judgment.
Love is a skill that can be learned and the only way to get skilled at a thing is to practice it. You may think you’re a good lover, but God wants you to become a great lover, a skilled lover, a master lover.
The first time you do a thing, most times, it feels awkward, but the more you do it, the better you become. The same is true with love.
