SELAH’S JOURNAL: THIS IS FUN… THIS IS LIFE! [II]

Still thinking about what is really fun. I have learnt how to be really happy by making God the source of everything. I’ve learnt how to be alone without being lonely, how to be sober yet my spirit is high, how to be dependent on God and independent where the world is concerned, in short, I’ve learnt how to be complete!

Yes, there are days that I slip up and make mistakes, but that’s the fun part because as soon as I sober up and approach God, I can see Him smiling and saying “Try again.”

My life is so much fun because everyday, I’m learning a side of God I didn’t know before. It’s fun when I pray those little prayers and it seems delayed but when I’m about giving up, God will suddenly show up and all by myself, I’ll laugh hard saying: “Daddy’s got a great sense of humor.”

It’s fun to watch the waters everyday on my way to work and have a deep sense of appreciation for God because He knows my fascination with water, therefore He situated my work place beside many waters. (Laughs), similar to Psalm 23.

He lead me beside the still waters -Ps 23:2

It’s fun to be calm when everyone is losing it and hear people ask you genuinely, “how come you are not worried!” It’s fun to hold others up in love and Christ.

(Takes deep breathe) My life is ‘soooo’ fun because I know God. This is fun… This is Life!
